34th District Council Candidate Forum - Williamsburg/Bushwick

34th District Council Candidate Forum - Williamsburg/Bushwick

Wednesday, August 28, 2013 - 7pm

In this upcoming election, you'll have the opportunity to vote for a City Council candidate that represents you. Do the candidates in your district care about safer, more livable streets as much as you do?

Join us on August 20th when T.A. co-sponsors a forum for candidates running in your City Council district (the 34th).

You and your neighbors will have the chance to hear the candidates state their positions on important issues facing the neighborhoods of Williamsburg, Bushwick and Ridgewood.

T.A. is fighting to bring Complete Streets to the district -- so our streets are safe for walkers, bikers, bus riders and drivers alike. Will the candidates and the next City Council member stand up for these critical issues?

At the forum, you'll be given the opportunity to ask the candidates questions and see exactly where they stand on the issues that you care about.

This is New York City's most important election in more than a decade.
Don't forget to vote. Polls are open from 6 am to 9 pm.
