The TA Brooklyn Activist Committee is working for a safer and more vibrant Atlantic Avenue. Join us as we light up Atlantic Ave on Friday June 5th, using bike lights, flash lights, and all things luminescent to help people cross this dangerous street. 

Moonlight bike ride with #SCNYC

Let’s meet up at our usual spot and do the Time’s Up Central Park Moonlight Ride! We will also have a chance to mingle with cyclists from Black Girls Do Bike.

Under the Viaduct (West Harlem)

UNDER THE VIADUCT is an art & lifestyle series where folks can meet, bike, skate or dine in an open-air plaza. Situated in West Harlem on 12th Avenue and near the Hudson River, residents and fellow New Yorkers can enjoy passive recreation in the daytime and when the sun starts going down, engage in dance, digital and reflective art.
Learn to ride is from 1:30 p.m. -- 3:30 p.m. And our special guests are Major Taylor Iron Riders and the All Women's Triatholon Team. 

Bike Bonanza NYC (Queens)

Introduce your children to cycling at this fun, free event!  Featuring:

  • FREE NYC Department of Transportation bike helmet fittings,  
  • Upgrade your child’s bike at RAB FREE kids bike swap (Up to 20" wheel size)
  • FREE Bike NY learn-to-ride classes for children.

Free Ride Safe Class with 718 Cyclery
Saturday, June 6, 2015 - 2pm | Free
The goal of this hands-on class is to get the rider comfortable riding in the NYC streets, as well as getting familiar with the "rules of the road" and basic maintenance. Bring your bike and helmet, as we are going riding!

Tour de Brooklyn Finish Festival
Sunday, June 7, 2015 - 11am to 4pm | Free 
Registration is now closed for the 2015 Tour de Brooklyn. But don't fret -- all are welcome to join the festivites at the Tour de Brooklyn Finish Fest with music, vendors, a bike jumble and your favorite Red Hook businesses!
